Lucy speaks to teen bookgroup at Borders Stockport
On Thursday 25th June, Lucy spent a delightful evening with the lovely folk at Borders Stockport and with their brilliant teen book group. Thanks to Jenny and Charley and Mike (the wonderful Borders staff) for having her and for making the night such a success. If anyone lives near this wonderful store, go in and visit them – their knowledge of teen books is amazing and you’ll be sure to walk out with a book you can’t wait to read

Lucy SOLD OUT of books at the Guardian Hay Festival 2009
Her event with Melvin Burgess and Anna Perera went really well too, attended by a full house of teens and their families.
There were some thoughtful questions asked, plus the winners of the Spinebreakers competition were presented with their prizes. It was especially fantastic that the first prize-winning story was inspired by the front cover of STOLEN! And what a well-written and chilling story it was too! A successful day all round.
Borders Bookstore Visits
Lucy will be talking about her novel STOLEN in two Borders stores. The two wonderful stores in question are:
Borders Stockport, 6.30pm Thursday 25th June
Borders Cardiff, 1pm, Saturday 4th July
Please come along to hear about the novel, ask Lucy questions and get your book signed! These are also fabulous stores, well deserving of a little mooch around!
School Visits
Lucy is really excited about the schools she will be going to visit over the next few weeks, and looking forward to the creative writing workshops she will be doing there.
