Lucy's recent trip to the USA

Lucy has been busy over the past few weeks, first traveling to Bedfordshire to attend the Bedfordshire book festival, then Berkhamstead for a lovely school visit, and then to Hull for the Children’s Book Award. During this, Lucy has also found time to fit in a visit to the USA! She was out there with her publisher, Barry Cunningham, to promote her debut novel, Stolen (which has just been released in the US).

While visiting, Lucy did interviews for Indigo, RT Magazine and the Scholastic On Our Minds site. She also spoke at the American Librarian’s Association conference, and met many amazing librarians. It was a wonderful trip, full of great excitement and admiration for the novel. Particularly exciting was being able to meet the team at Scholastic U.S who publish Stolen there. What a wonderful and enthusiastic team!
