Throwing the Bath Bonnet!

Otherwise known as graduation.

Here I am becoming a Doctor in Creative Writing.

YES, it is ACTUALLY called a Bath bonnet! No wonder I wanted to chuck it in the air once the ceremony was done.

As you can probably tell from this picture, I am graduating from something. I have a lovely blue outfit to go with the occasion and everything. And no, that isn’t an aircraft hangar in the background.

Seriously, it was a brilliant day, spent with family, friends and also my wonderful PhD supervisors. Some of my previous students were even graduating on the same day, which made it all extra special. I am now a Doctor in Creative Writing … though (sshh!) I’m still not entirely sure what that means. I’m hoping it means I get upgraded on airline flights, but don’t have to perform surgery while I’m there.

spose it also meens like i shuld be gud with wordz like innit, tho me still ain’t shure bout dat.

If the book was made into a moive, it would be AMAZING!!!!

I was gonna suggest picking one of the Hemsworth borthers to play Ty, because they are Australian and HOT! But then, when i was watching the film Monte Carlo, which has Selena Gomez in it, It had the hot Australian actor Luke Bracey (Home and Away star) in it!

Luke Bracey is Aussie and hot, he would make an Awesome Ty!!

Lucy you truly have a way with words. Stolen was so breathtaking, it was really everything I could want in a book. I must admit, tears were shed at the ending. It was so unexpected, what Gemma decided in the end. And Ty, I wish there were actually boys like that in the world, I especially liked his unconditional love for Gemma. And the writing, the descriptions, everything! Just wow. You know what you’re talking about. I’ve never been anywhere near Australia, but I could easily picture the setting. I am so excited for the film! The song blue jeans by Lana Del Ray reminds me so much of this book. I think it would be a great song for the end credits, but that’s so much to ask for, right? I will definitly read the sequel if you ever decide to make one.
